Promoting the rural development of small producers in the Highlands of Madagascar

Lecofruit has requested a partnership with the GIZ in order to face these different challenges. The objective of this partnership is therefore to diversify and secure the income of small producers in the Highlands of Madagascar. As GIZ has experience in partnerships with the private sector and rural development, in particular agribusiness, it provides support to the Lecofruit company in the decisions to be taken and the implementation of its strategy. For the GIZ, this partnership helps to improve the living conditions of 12,000 vulnerable small farmers.
