  • Originally involved mainly in hydraulic infrastructure programs, the Bas-Rhône Languedoc-Madagascar company has participated since 1999 in projects for the dissemination of Direct Seeding on Permanent Plant Cover, in an encompassing approach to watersheds as a whole (Lac Alaotra, South -East). The dissemination of DMCs in Lake Alaotra, particularly on the eastern shore, has been strongly supported by farmers.

    Since 2006, BRL has been involved in the dissemination of DMCs in the Ampary area, an area of recent volcanism with high population density and rapid environmental degradation.
